The “high energy astrophysics and astroparticle physics” journal club is going on since 2007 (with some breaks). The purpose of this new series is to enhance the level of cross-disciplinary understanding among colleagues and build a sinergy, discuss topics in various fields of astrophysics/cosmology/astroparticle physics and fuel collaborations/ideas. It aims to be
- informal and open, aimed at “unexperienced” researchers (Ph.D., out-of-field researchers);
- a possible starting point for new joint projects;
- a contribute to the interdisciplinary training of graduated students.
Meetings
Cycles of biweekly meetings focusing on topics (e.g. neutron stars, GWs, CMB, dark matter, dark energy, gamma ray and neutrino astronomy, etc.) are foreseen.
Participants contribute from from his/her angle/background/expertise
